Patricia Soto Named Director of Operations at Hotel Alameda

Patricia Soto, a seasoned hospitality professional with an extensive background and a passion for service excellence, has been appointed director of operations at Hotel Alameda High Line.

Patricia’s journey in hospitality began with an internship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, an experience that sparked her enduring love for the industry and laid the foundation for a career built on adaptability, integrity and a deep commitment to service excellence.

She has been instrumental in several successful hotel pre-openings and openings, including the launch of The Wall Street Hotel in 2022. Her background spans a range of hotel brands, including Hilton, Hyatt, Dream and Leading Hotels of the World.

With her sights set on becoming a general manager, Patricia continues to uphold the values of service excellence and heart-led leadership. “Respected for her strong interpersonal skills, collaborative leadership style and positive attitude, Patricia has earned a reputation as a trusted mentor and inspiring leader,” said Neil Genel, M&R talent acquisition manager.

Throughout her career, Patricia has excelled in nearly every facet of hotel operations including front office, customer service, revenue management, recruitment and training, consistently proving her ability to adapt to new environments, lead effectively and deliver exceptional results.

Patricia earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration and management at the New York City College of Technology and a master’s degree in business management at Monroe University in New York, where she completed a double major in accounting and human resources.

Outside of her professional life, Patricia cherishes time with her family and friends and finds joy in cooking meals with love, bringing the same warmth and care to her kitchen as she does to her work.
