Kevin Rahaman Named Area Facility Manager

M&R has promoted Sarfarz “Kevin” Rahaman to area facility manager, overseeing operations at the Comfort Inn JFK Airport and the Brookville Hotel at JFK.

Kevin, who joined M&R in June 2021 as an engineering supervisor, brings over 15 years of hospitality experience and a hands-on leadership approach that has defined his career since he started at the Hilton Garden Inn Manhattan in 2009.

“Known for his work ethic, creativity and dedication, Kevin has consistently gone above and beyond to support our operations and team members,” said Neil Genel, M&R talent acquisition manager.

Throughout his career, Kevin has demonstrated a remarkable ability to lead by example, consistently going above and beyond to support hotel operations and empower team members, Neil said. “Kevin has played an instrumental role in creating the positive culture at the Brookville Hotel JFK, and we’re confident he’ll bring the same energy and leadership to the Comfort Inn JFK.”

A natural collaborator and problem solver, Kevin brings creativity, calm under pressure and a solutions-first mindset to every challenge, Neil said, adding: “These qualities will be invaluable as he takes on the expanded responsibilities of this esteemed new role.”

Beyond the workplace, Kevin enjoys staying active with landscaping and construction projects. In his downtime, he finds peace in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. At his core, Kevin is driven by a deep dedication to his family, which continues to inspire his professional journey.
