M&R leaders, general managers and chief engineers attend a workers' compensation and risk management training hosted at the Fairfield New York Manhattan/Central Park. The session covered topics related to workers' compensation coverage, workplace safety and compliance with relevant laws. Representatives of USI, M&R’s property insurance provider, reviewed best practices for incident reporting and overall risk mitigation. Additionally, M&R’s partners at Paychex provided a workers' compensation overview, including how to file claims, access loss run reports and implement best practices. David Rivera, M&R’s corporate purchasing manager, presented an overview of BirchStreet Systems, a leading cloud-based software company that helps full- and select-service hospitality properties automate and control their purchasing processes, manage suppliers, track spending and ensure compliance.
