David Vives Rejoins M&R as Area Sales Manager

David Vives has been appointed area sales manager for the Fairfield by Marriott New York Manhattan/Central Park and the Holiday Inn NYC – Lower East Side.

David is no stranger to the M&R family, having previously served as sales manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West. With over 15 years of diverse industry experience, he returns with a renewed vision and a passion for excellence in hotel sales.

David’s hospitality journey began as a front desk associate and he steadily climbed the ranks, serving as an accounting assistant, sales coordinator and sales manager. Along the way, he has made lasting contributions at Fairfield Inn, Four Points, DoubleTree and Renaissance hotels.

A team builder, David champions a collaborative approach, believing that great hotel experiences are created by the efforts of the entire staff. Neil Genel, M&R talent acquisition manager, said David’s leadership style reflects his bold, forward-thinking mindset, adding that he thrives on innovation, welcomes change and embraces calculated risk as part of delivering extraordinary results in fast-paced environments.

Outside of work, David enjoys exploring New York City's vibrant culture and dynamic cinema and Broadway scene with his family. A keen foodie, he is always discovering new culinary tastes. His creative sanctuary lies in photography and videography, where he finds peace and joy in capturing and sharing life’s most meaningful moments through a visual lens.
