Associate Spotlight: Ariel Sirett, Engineer at Fairfield New York Manhattan/Central Park
At the Fairfield New York Manhattan/Central Park, exceptional service doesn’t stop at the front desk; it extends behind the scenes, where dedicated team members work tirelessly to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and comfortable stay. A standout example is Ariel Sirett, an engineer whose efforts have made a meaningful impact on guests and the hotel team alike.
Ariel recently received glowing feedback from guests who experienced firsthand his professionalism, kindness and quick problem-solving abilities. One guest said, “We had an enjoyable stay, and the staff was very friendly. Our only issue was that the heat was not working properly in our room. The maintenance staff member, Ariel, who responded to our service request was extremely helpful and made every effort to ensure we were taken care of and quickly moved to a room with proper heat.”
Another guest recalled a small moment that left a big impression: “Special mention to Ariel from maintenance. When I arrived at the hotel, I couldn’t charge my phone because I didn’t have an adapter. I ran into him in the hallway, told him about the situation and he quickly got me a cable so I could charge it! This is what hospitality is all about.”
Ariel’s role behind the scenes includes not only responding to immediate guest needs but also preventive maintenance and keeping the hotel operating smoothly. Whether organizing his work cart with precision, preparing hand-written notes to thank guests or performing regular maintenance checks in the lobby, Ariel embodies a commitment to thoughtful service and teamwork.
According to General Manager Yan Chung, Ariel is a valuable member of the back-of-house team, consistently going the extra mile to ensure guests have positive experiences. “We are proud to have him as part of our team, and we look forward to seeing all the ways he continues to create outstanding experiences for our guests.”
